Gold Award:

Mediterranean style dream in Waitakere by Matthew Wilkinson

Matthew Wilkinson is the winner of the 2019 Landscape of the Year People’s Choice Gold Award for this one of a kind Mediterranean landscape in Waitakere. Matthew improved all the pathways surrounding this home, including a sunken brick pathway at the back of the property. Admire the terracotta cobble tiles and more by viewing the full project here.

Silver Award:

A landscaped new build in Katikati by Nichola Vague

Tauranga’s Nichola Vague takes home the Silver Award by converting this retirement home’s bare outdoor area into a lovely private garden. She did so by creating a levelled garden that met the retired homeowner’s lifestyle needs. The end result is a safe, elegant, and functional back garden that can be admired for hours on end. Bronze Award:

A dock for a special occasion in Coatesville by Judd Stratful

Last, but not least, we have Judd Stratful from Rodney winning the Bronze Award! This unique project involved creating an attractive site to host wedding ceremonies for Hu’s Farm - a luxury venue and accommodation site in Coatesville. Judd and his team built a parking lot that would accommodate at least fifty cars and an over-the-water dock to host wedding ceremonies. View the gorgeous photos and read more here.
