A new garden, patio and fence in Northcote

When landscaping specialists Matt and Boyd Gillespie first met the owners of this Northcote property, they were presented with a landscape that was almost a blank canvas. The small lawn was bordered by an overgrown garden, a worn fence, ageing concrete pavers and an uneven parking space. An outdoor dining table sat on the lawn next to a trampoline, lacking an established social area to sit on. 

Hardscaping and softscaping

In an initial consultation, Matt and Boyd discussed the property owners’ ideas with them and worked with them to form their key priorities. From there, the pair oversaw the landscape design and build process, which entailed stabilising the car park area, building a new fence, installing permeable paving and establishing a new garden.
