Creating smooth transitions between outdoor spaces is key to a functional and valuable landscape design. Zones landscaping specialists Matt and Boyd Gillespie worked on this Murrays Bay property to improve its outdoor flow.
“The entry to this property was a bit dis-jointed”, explains Matt. “A design was completed to link the front gate with the carport, and a path to the front door.”

With a new design in place, the Zones North Shore team installed a roll-out lawn (“couch grass - for hard-wearing”), providing a great summer space.
A concrete pathway was installed, creating a clear trail between the property’s entryways.
To improve the overall feel of the space, Matt, Boyd and the team created a planting plan which was then clearly defined with retaining walls.
The final step was to improve the privacy of the property. New fencing was built, providing a secure outdoor area for kids and pets to play in.
