Outdoor dining under a wave shade sail

The owners of this Tauranga property wanted to convert their basic backyard lawn into a sheltered barbeque and dining area. The three-week project was carried out by their local landscaping specialist Nigel Ramsden, who removed the lawn, installed a patio and pergola, and created coverage using a retractable wave shade sail. A Balinese yoga-inspired outdoor room

Who needs to attend yoga classes when you have your very own Balinese yoga-inspired outdoor room? Carried out in just two weeks, this project involved transforming a boggy backyard into a weatherboarded outdoor room with shutters. Year-round outdoor luxury

This award-winning outdoor area by landscaping specialist Kate Ryan features an adjustable louvre roof which provides year-round light and coverage. To complete the outdoor space, Kate’s team installed a new deck, turf, spa area and outdoor fireplace. The landscape design - completed for $96,000 NZD - strikes a balance between opulent and cosy.
